Letter to the Bow-wow's Beloved

Dear "Animal Lover"

This is to state that I am a Homo sapiens resident of the old hostel. Off late I have noticed that you have been procreating quite conspicuously. In fact, this morning I found myself touched by your all encompassing animal love, when I saw my hands feeding Britannia biscuits to the puppies in the lawns, from my room in the first floor.

I am sure it must be extremely entertaining/satiating/orgasming to expand the Animals Lovers clan. But you see, I am terrified, psychologically and pathologically affected by animals. The fear of animals, especially canines, was rooted in me when a dog licked my two month old self. (The incident is still too raw to write on!) Ever since I have been running away from canines of any size, shape and age. I feel traumatized on seeing cur excreta on my floor doorways, on seeing new cur dinner-mates, on seeing them running around the trees and me.

I do humbly acknowledge that I am in no way close to being the recipient of the compassion that you bestow on your canines. I am not as faithful with tail wagging loyalty as they are. Nor do I induce any desire of petting or fondling that their furry skin calls for. Nor am I holdable on your lap or arms. Nor is my sleeping/eating an activity to be monitored and watched. Nor are my eyes and nose coochy-coo-able, rather are be-spectacled and watery.

However, I would request you to expand your love to other animals like me. Please express your love for canines behind the walls, or at least let your aficionado know that ONLY YOU love it and NOT ME! Can you also teach it some toilet manners? Also a word or two on the birds and the bees talk. Soon, in the next breeding season, these youngsters might start mating indiscriminately.

I hope you would understand my unstable frame of mind. My Chinese Therapist is trying to help me like dogs by introducing me to xiāng ròu.

Food Debate!!!!

Here we go again, after a short dormancy of few weeks ISI-D seems lively again with the new mail-war cooking up regarding the Pasta-Veg-Non-Veg issue.It remains to be seen who wins Pasta Or Non-Pasta. I think we can together help out our "MESS"-managers to decide better how to better manage the "MESS", also we saw some people talking about polls being crazy and stuff so we could have a proper poll when we have the option at hand.

Regarding the food though it was good "MESS" this month as i get the general opinion to be lets see if my guess is valid or not....

HEALTH CONSCIOUSNESS

26th jan, 2010: The ISID cooks have shown their health consciousness when they have made oil free PARATHA in the breakfast today. Many of the ISI students are very much worried with their figure and want to take lesser calories. Time and again they have asked the cooks to give lesser oil to the foods. Today the cooks come up with this new idea. In spite of being oil free, the taste of the parathas was awesome(according to some people it is better than the other days). Right now all the students are waiting for the next innovation from The COOKS.

Dear Mr.innocent,

Whoever you are I don't know what your intentions are but quoting somebody's paper before the research work is complete isn't a very manly/womanly thing(whichever may suit you) to do.If you have to criticize somebody first let us know the contents of the paper then we can discuss regarding the paper. And moreover how can you comment something on somebody eating 'VAAT',
that is the staple diet of the country.

Recently one of our JRF's came up with a interesting conjecture-

"There exists a 'ONE-TO-ONE' correspondence between eating 'VAAT' and having 'BRAINS'.

As is always true it found its criticism. Some other 'NON-VAAT-EATING' JRF's conclude that the "ONLY-IF" part does not hold with PROBABILITY 1.

We request more information on this intriguing new research!!!!!
